Captain Luis and his Mate on the Predator were fantastic! Our goal was to catch fish and that is exactly what we did! We had 2 offshore fishing excursions scheduled. During these trips we caught more fish then we ever expected, this included sailfish and yellowfin tuna. We are in the process of booking another trip to Costa Rica in 2026 and hopefully we can get back on the Predator. Huge thanks to Captain Luis and his Mate for 2 great trips!
Captain and mate were awesome!!! We headed north to pick up some live bait and then slow trolled for some roosterfish. We caught one at the first stop then the world record breaker at the second spot. We spent the rest of the day hitting numerous spots catching a variety of fish. Roosterfish were the target but who would of thought it was a pending world record. WOW.
Capt. Javier and crew Eber were awesome. We caught Sailfish (my first was on my 62nd birthday) Mahi, and Rooster fish.
All of the fish that were hooked were brought to the boat.

My husband and I just returned from the best fishing trip ever! Javier and Eber of the Predator, Los Suenos Harbor, Costa Rica are very friendly and speak English well. My Spanish is not so good. The fishing far exceeded our expectations, bringing in multiple Maui Maui, Sailfish and Tuna. The season was just right for the run, timing is everything. Javier and Eber are the experts, very knowledgeable. This is not a large boat but it fit our needs perfectly for a day trip. Bring sunscreen and hat as a minimum. They provided plenty of beverages.
